Nordisk Legal Services (NLS) is Nordisk’s legal case-handling arm. NLS is a separate division within the association to which the actual handling of cases is entrusted, much like an independent law firm. NLS acts in this role both towards the member or client in question and in relation to the outside world, like opposing parties and arbitrators.
The reason for this structure is a wish to distinguish between our lawyers’ activities related to individual case-handling on one hand, and the association’s FD&D element on the other.
