Oskar Vegheim works primarily in litigation and arbitration within the shipping sector. He also supports members in transactional work, including ship sale and purchase, and sale-leaseback transactions. He is also a member of Nordisk’s sanctions and compliance team.
Oskar graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen in 2021. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Prior to joining Nordisk, Oskar spent two years as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Norway. He has also served as a research assistant at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, University of Oslo. He has experience as a lecturer from both the University of Oslo and BI Norwegian Business School, covering subjects like contract law and tort law. Additionally, he has authored several legal commentaries, including on the Aquaculture Act and the CISG.
