This year the fund has awarded one scholarship to Sebastian Kjærnli Aguirre who will pursue an LL.M. degree in Maritime Law at the National University of Singapore (NUS) for the academic year 2019/2020.
The fund provides support to Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish lawyers or legal practitioners who want to acquire better qualifications through academic or practical education in foreign and international maritime law. Each scholarship is for up to NOK 300,000, and more than one scholarship may be granted each year.
