Nordisk is proud to welcome our newest lawyer Olav Eriksen to the team. Olav is an experienced shipping, transactions and finance lawyer. Olav has until now worked at the Norwegian law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig, specialising in asset and project finance (including of ships, offshore installations and renewable power projects), as well as restructuring of debt and companies. Olav also has experience with sanctions related issues relating to financial institutions.
Olav has a master’s degree in maritime law from the University of Southampton, in addition to his law degree from the University of Bergen, where he graduated in 2009. His dissertation was entitled “Places of Refuge – coastal state liability and compensation”.
