Håvard Njølstad

Håvard Njølstad is a Norwegian lawyer and English solicitor specialising in maritime law, with a particular focus on contracts and dispute resolution.
Håvard earned his Norwegian law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen in 2019. During his studies, he gained experience as a student assistant and research assistant. From 2019 to 2024, he worked as an associate and senior associate at Wikborg Rein, first in Bergen and later in Oslo. He qualified as a Norwegian lawyer in 2022.
Håvard joined Nordisk in 2024 and qualified as an English solicitor in 2026. He is a member of JUS’ Shipping and Offshore Committee, CMI’s Norwegian NOMA group, and the Young Plan Group, and serves on the boards of Young CMI Norway and Nye Jantzens Fond. He is also a Karnov author, contributing to the commentary on the Norwegian Maritime Code, and regularly speaks at universities, conferences, and seminars.
Håvard is in charge of Nordisk’s internship programme.
