To suit the requirements of our members, we also offer legal services within shipping transactions and ship finance.

Initial advice is covered as part of the membership, while more extensive work is charged by the hour, as an additional premium. The additional income helps keep the club solid and the premiums down. These additional services cover a wide spectrum of work including:

• Support in negotiating contracts, including sale and purchase of ships and rigs, sale/leaseback transactions, charter parties, shipbuilding contracts, and FPSO and FSRU contracts
• Restructuring and refinancing
• Ship finance
• Competition law and pools
• Compliance and regulatory issues including sanctions advice
