Knut Erling Øyehaug graduated from the University of Oslo in 1985. He holds a Licentiatus Juris degree for his thesis on legal issues pertaining to drilling rigs. Knut Erling is an experienced litigator who has handled large-scale offshore and shipping disputes, and provides legal advice on matters including offshore projects, shipbuilding, sale and purchase, charterparties, pool and joint venture agreements. He joined Nordisk in 1986, taking leave to serve as a deputy judge from 1988 to 1989. He has also been a partner at a major Oslo law firm.
Knut Erling is a member of Nordisk’s Management Group and head of the Offshore and Energy Group. He is also a member of the Board of NOMA (Nordic Maritime and Offshore Arbitration Association, and President of its Procedural Committee.
