Ola Granhus Mediås joined Nordisk in 2014 after completing his law degree at the University of Oslo.
Ola has considerable experience within traditional charter party matters, shipbuilding contracts as well as sale and purchase of ships. In addition, he assists Nordisk’s offshore members with negotiations of charter parties as well as dispute handling, both in the traditional oil and gas segment and the windfarm industry. A core part of Ola’s work lies within the ship recycling business, where he has assisted clients in regulatory matters, as well as assisting with the completion of recycling sales.
Ola has written the commentary on the rules of arrest of Ships to the Maritime Code for Karnov and is also used on subcommittees in BIMCO and the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN).
Ola spent two years in Nordisk’s Singapore office from 2019 to 2021.
