This year the fund has awarded two scholarships. One scholarship has been awarded to the Norwegian lawyer Marianne Myklebust who will attend a trainee programme with a law firm in New York, and the other scholarship has been awarded to the Norwegian lawyer Karin Gjersøe who will attend a trainee programme with a law firm in London.
The purpose of the fund is to support Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish lawyers who wish to acquire improved qualifications for practicing maritime law through academic research or practical legal experience outside the Nordic countries.
