We are pleased to welcome Clementine Makower to the Nordisk team in Oslo.
Clementine comes to us from 4 Pump Court, where she has been a barrister. She was called to the bar in 2020. She was seconded to Nordisk for a few weeks in the summer of 2023, and we are happy she has since chosen to move to Oslo to join the team!
As a barrister she gained particular experience in shipping and international arbitration.
Clementine was educated at the University of Cambridge (BA – graduating with the highest mark in her year) and City, University of London.
She has also studied Chinese at Tianjin Foreign Studies University for four months, and completed an internship at a Chinese law firm specialising in shipping and insurance law. She has taught undergraduate law at City University as a visiting lecturer.
