Mats E. Sæther has worked extensively with ship recycling sales and legal issues and has given many seminars on the topic. He will give an overview of the history, current practices and developments, and a brief overview of the legal issues regarding recycling. He will cover the EU rules, the “Harrier” case and present the Nordisk Responsible Ship Recycling Clauses 2020.
Mats Sæther was recently promoted to Managing Director of Nordisk, having been a Nordisk lawyer for eight years. He previously spent 10 years as a lawyer with BAHR and Wikborg Rein.
