We are pleased to announce that Tor Erik Andreassen has joined Nordisk as Chief Operating Officer from 1. November.
Tor Erik is educated as a Naval Architect from the Norwegian Institute of Technology. Over a total period of 12 years he has served in various positions in Fred. Olsen companies, including as head of Fred. Olsen Windcarrier. This background from the ship owning side is complemented by a further 11 years at Skuld where he served as COO until 2009. Tor Erik comes to Nordisk from his most recent venture at NorthEdge where he has been leading the establishment of the Energy and Special Risks team.
The recruitment of Tor Erik should be seen as a clear ambition to strengthen the underwriting and insurance aspects of Nordisk, while at the same time maintaining sensitivity to the members’ commercial needs.
